Dr. Kishore Kumar Ariga was born and brought up in Hyderabad, Telangana. He completed his MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, which is the premier medical institution in the state. He did his MD (General Medicine) from JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research), Puducherry, which ranks among the top three central medical institutes in India, where he was awarded the prestigious Sri Venkata Subba Reddiar Gold Medal for Cardiology in 2014 by the Department of Medicine.
Demonstrating academic excellence, he secured the All India 1st Rank in the Nephrology DM entrance examination conducted by AIIMS, Delhi. He completed his DM in Nephrology from AIIMS, New Delhi, the foremost premier medical institute in the country. During his training at AIIMS, New Delhi, he was extensively trained in all dimensions of nephrology including chronic kidney disease, interventional nephrology procedures (such as permcath insertions, peritoneal catheter insertions, and kidney biopsies), glomerular diseases, and complicated renal transplant cases.
